Getting started with War Dogs

Community What this badge means

A short introduction for new War Dogs players: how to use this site, read our advice labels and build useful first-session habits.

Community This introduction is community advice, rather than checked game mechanics.

What this guide is

Welcome to the War Dogs section of Clear2Engage. This is an unofficial community introduction, independent of the game’s makers. The advice here comes from the community; it is not official game documentation.

How to read the advice here

Community means a tip has come from players and may need checking. Recommended means advice with a reason behind it and limits to bear in mind. Tested means it has been tried in play or in a controlled check. Confirmed means it has been checked against a reliable primary source. These labels do not make every tip a fact. If a page says it needs checking, use the latest official information before relying on it.

Suggested first session habits

Take time to learn the map, practise clear callouts with your squad and make a short note of anything that felt confusing after a match. Be cautious with claims about the “best” loadout, damage figures or other game numbers unless you can see where they came from and which update they apply to.

Where to go next on Clear2Engage

Explore the guides, maps, tools, squad play, progression, vehicles and patches sections. This introduction is the only written guide at the moment. Other guide topics have nothing to read yet, and the known issues and game updates pages have no published notices. Check the game’s official channels for current news.
